When Should We Join the Project?
Between concept and construction drawings: once the position and size are known but before floors, walls and services are closed up. Joining then means load, access and services make it into the drawings, and no wall has to be broken later.
Technical Data We Provide
- External dimensions, glass thickness and clear viewing sizes
- Filled weight, footprint and plinth detail
- Service clearances and access direction
- Electrical load (W), number and position of sockets
- Water and drainage points
- Ventilation need and heat load
- Colour temperature and schedule of the lighting
Weight: A Quick Estimate
- Gross volume (litres): width × depth × height (cm) / 1,000
- Water: about 1 kg/L, seawater 1.025 kg/L; typically filled to 85–90% of gross
- Glass: total glass area (m²) × thickness (mm) × 2.5 kg
- Sand, rock and décor: roughly 10–15% of the water weight
- Plinth and cabinet: added by material
Example: 200 × 60 × 70 cm with 15 mm glass is 840 litres gross, about 750 kg of water, 180 kg of glass and 100 kg of sand and rock. With the plinth it exceeds a tonne over a 1.2 m² footprint, roughly 900 kg/m². Residential and office floors in Türkiye are typically designed for a 2.0 kN/m² live load (about 200 kg/m², TS 498), so an aquarium of this size needs a structural opinion. Building Services
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Power | Dedicated circuit, 30 mA RCD, sockets above the water line |
| Water | Nearby tap; feed for reverse osmosis on marine systems |
| Drainage | Floor drain or connection in the service area |
| Ventilation | Fan or vent for the service void and cabinet |
| Lighting control | Timer; smart-home integration on request |
How We Work
Design language and finishes stay with you. We prepare the dimensioned drawings, technical data and equipment selection, coordinate with the contractor and electrician on site and take a final measurement before production. Because we take on the care afterwards, we never compromise on service access in the drawings.
