Aquariums in Shop Windows: Sun and Heat
A window is the most visible and the hardest place for an aquarium. Direct sun heats the water, speeds up algae and turns the glass into a mirror from outside. We plan solar control film on the window, a dedicated chiller or fan, a shorter lighting period around peak sun and light angles set for the view from the street.
Designed Around the Brand
Rock and sand tones, background colour, colour temperature and the colour of the fish can follow the brand palette. Dark stone and a restrained planting suit a luxury showroom; a colourful freshwater community suits a children’s store.
Mall Rules and Installation Times
Mall units need technical management approval before installation. They usually ask for the filled weight and floor load, power consumption and connection, water and drainage needs, and the date, time and goods-lift use. We prepare these with the quote and install outside opening hours.
Working With Product Display
For watches, jewellery or design objects, the aquarium works well as part of the display furniture, with the product in front of or above it and the aquarium as a backdrop. We work from the same drawings as the furniture maker.
